Welcome to our home page!

We have 2 kids, Alex who was born May 1992 and Katrina who was born January 1996. You can see their pictures on their own pages, and other pictures on the PICTURES page.

My older brother, Dan, who has settled in Alaska for the past few years, got married and has moved to Florida!

My younger brother, Dale, got married in 2002.

I like to make and decorate cakes, so here are pictures of some that I have done.

We went on a mini vacation, summer of 2000, and did some biking on the Katy Trail in central Missouri - pictures here.

I got a KITTEN for Christmas in 1999 - have to brag lots about her - she gets her own page - however her attitude is severely stuck-up, she won't let us hold her and we can only pet her on her terms - so we got another one! Dale found Olivia at 2 weeks old abandoned/lost, and let us have her - we nicknamed her Libby

Our trip to Las Vegas...

Richard works with computers, both programming and support. I am the computer lab teacher for a nearby elementary school about 20 hours a week. I support the staff with technical problems when I'm not teaching classes. I lead a Spanish Club for their 2nd graders a couple of mornings a week. My hobbies are the computer and crafts and music, however my major was in Spanish.

We experienced an ice storm here in Kansas City in 2002 that was absolutely awesome. It "rained" ice for 2 days straight. When it was over there were 500,000 people without electricity, millions of trees broken and damaged, resulting in millions of dollars of cleanup. We were declared a disaster area. People were encouraged to stay indoors once the ice started melting. It was dangerous to walk outside under trees, the constant ice melting and falling sounded like hail. They stopped traffic on the major highways and sprayed the ice off of signs so that it wouldn't inadvertently fall on a car as they were driving along the highway. People who didn't remove the ice from the top of their car before driving several times had that huge sheet of ice fly off and narrowly miss cars behind them. See pictures of our trees with ice.
